Bees in My Apple Tree - April 22, 2012

This morning my apple tree was buzzing with honey bees!

I took these this morning as Mother nature was doing her work!

It looks like another very good crop of apples!

Just think of it: apple pie, apple juice, fresh sliced apples!  Be patient... just a few short months!

A Fun Home Evening Activity

We set up the fire ring in the back yard.

Next we put marshmallows on our cooking sticks.

Everyone got into the activity!

Next comes the chocolate covered granola grams!

Oh! Yummy!

Our Family Park - April 14, 2012

We are getting it ready for the Farnworth Reunion in June.

It is really looking great this year!

In just a few weeks and it will be covered with cousins!

Easter BBQ & Swim Party April 7, 2012

Many of our children and grandchildren came for a BBQ and Swim Party

The weather was beautiful, and the water was warm!

Our youngest grand daughter was there too!

The hot tub is always a popular spot!

Then a surprise... My cousin Shawn Farnworth came for a visit!

Love Utah Weather!!! From Snow to Sunshine!

This is what I woke up to this morning!  5 inches of snow!

The daffodils were covered in snow.

and so were my peach blossoms.

Then the sun came out and I opened our swimming pool!

Let the Summer fun begin!

I love Utah weather!

All this in one single day!!!

Getting Ready for the Reunion

We met at the "Family Park" and looked it over.

The snow is all gone and it looks very inviting.

The stream is crystal clear and probably teaming with fish!  I wish!

In just 8 more weeks and we'll all be there for the reunion!

I attended two Scouting events!

My grandson Tyler Jackson received some awards at his

Blue and Gold Cub Scout Banquet.

Then he danced as the boys each shared their talent.

On March 8 I attended my very good friend's BSA award night.

Scott Monsen received the Silver Beaver award!

Paisley Farr - Grandchild #18

Tiffany and Austin received their first child.

Grandma and Grandpa Jackson are happy to have another granddaughter!

Tiffany and Austin are proud of their beautiful daughter!

Here she is already 1 week old!

That makes 9 Boys and 9 Girls!

Touring San Diego - Feb 18, 2012

Jerry and Braden and I went to San Diego.

We toured the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier.

The Midway was named after the WWII Battle of Midway.

This ship is similar to the ship Jerry was on at the start of the Vietnam War,

it was named the Bon Homme Richard.

And the Midway was near Vietnam while I was stationed there in 1972.

 After that we went through "The Star of India",

and the "Ship Surprise". We also went through a Russian and an American Submarine.

My 66th Birthday (Feb 11th)

I had a wonderful birthday with some of my family.

We  went out to eat lunch at the Olive Garden.

Then later that evening we went to the Stake Valentines dance.

The music and the refreshments were very nice!

I had a wonderful birthday!

Matthew's Court of Honor

Matthew received a Citizenship in the World Merit Badge.

Then he received his Star Rank Advancement!  Next is Life and then Eagle!

First Snow of 2012

I woke up this morning to about 5 inches of snow.  So I ran outside and took some pictures.

This is our front yard in Syracuse, Utah.

This is our swimming pool in the back yard.

At 9 a.m. it still hasn't stopped and it is about 7 inches deep.

My Military Medals
