SEPTEMBER 23, Second Day of Fall, My Flowers

Today is the second day of Fall and so after attending the Brigham City Temple Dedication I walked around my yard and took pictures of some of my flowers.

 

 

   

JULY- Richard Jackson Reunion at Huntington Beach California

July 20-21 over 20 of us went to the Richard Jackson Reunion in Huntington Beach.

Jonathan was in charge of the reunion this year and it was such a fun reunion.

After spending the day at the beach we all went out for dinner.

Next year in Heber, Utah.

Expanding the West side of the Family Park

As our family reunion grows bigger we are expanding our Family Park.

 First we developed the East side of the river.  This is the main camping area.

As you enter there is a East entrance (Left) and a West entrance (Right).

Above is the East Lower camping area improved and widened.

Last year we built the shed on the upper East main area.

This year we widened the West entrance and made it more accessible.

Then we widened and cleared the West side camping area and cut a road down on the South end.

Our Family Park - April 14, 2012

We are getting it ready for the Farnworth Reunion in June.

It is really looking great this year!

In just a few weeks and it will be covered with cousins!

First Snow of 2012

I woke up this morning to about 5 inches of snow.  So I ran outside and took some pictures.

This is our front yard in Syracuse, Utah.

This is our swimming pool in the back yard.

At 9 a.m. it still hasn't stopped and it is about 7 inches deep.

Mexican Riviera Cruise Dec 3-10, 2011

Seven of us went on a Mexican Riviera Cruise and had a wonderful time!

We had so much fun together!

It was nice and warm in Mexico!

Vincent had a great time too.

Utah State Capitol - October 25, 2011

Today I went to the Utah State Capitol and took pictures.

The 2011 Leslie Jackson Family Reunion

Our hats off to Don Jackson for organizing another very successful Jackson Reunion.  It was held at the park near Don's home in Salt Lake City.  Everyone seemed to have a wonderful time!

My Mother's Donuts

When I was a small boy, my mother made nearly 1000 donuts a day that we would go out and sell so our family could make ends meet. I have my mother's recipe. 

We got a wonderful Kitchenaid last month.

I just had to try out my mother's recipe!

I mixed and rolled it

Cups make a great cutter!

and a small prescription bottle cut out the centers nicely.
